Axel wireless had for the past 10 years used the services of TNT, DHL and FedEx to name a few, for its UK, international and world wide courier requirements. We found that with these companies the service was in most cases only just acceptable. We felt that Axell Wirelesses business was viewed by these large companies as being a relatively small fish in their very big ponds.
After conducting a logistics review we opted to give UCS, a relatively unknown courier company to us then, a try. To our pleasure we found two immediate improvements.

All of these with excellent personal communication, customised pick up arrangements and personal tracking of those highly visible, ultra important shipments that just must arrive on time.

We’d like to thank Chris and UCS for the Logistical support they’ve been providing the BT channel Team at Cisco with our Demonstration Rack.
During FY07 and FY08 we ran many events to provide ‘upskilling’ for Cisco Partner engineers and also an intensive series of high profile customer events where we demonstrated Cisco Unified Communications solutions to a variety of potential new customers and also end users for large existing customers.
The locations, dates and timings of the events were often arranged or changed at the very last minute due to customer requirements and you consistently managed to get the Demonstration Rack delivered to site safety on time, every time.
In addition to the UK based activity there has also been European wide event activity including Cisco Networkers (now called Cisco Live) and also a variety of Partner Sales events throughout Europe.
