2 week closure of the North Service Road at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton
Monday 12th June to Sunday 25th June
To allow the construction of a new building, next to the hospital’s North Service Road, it will be necessary to shut the service road at its east end where it joins Bristol Gate.
The closure will last for two weeks between the dates shown above.
This closure will affect all deliveries usually made via the North Service Road to Pharmacy, Pathology, Sterile Services Department, the Sussex Kidney Unit, the Cardiac Department, the Children’s Hospital and any other services that vehicles normally use the road to access.
If you are going to deviate from the agreed delivery dates, we will require at least three days’ notice.
Access for service vehicles: Service vehicles should access the site via the NSR and park in the designated delivery/ service bays under direction of the Traffic Officer.
Delivery of “One Off” Large Items such as Furniture or Equipment: Please contact the Buyer in the first instance in order to confirm delivery arrangements.
Delivery routines will return to normal from Monday 26th June.
