You may be aware that there was a significant chemical explosion at a plant in Tianjin last month, which resulted in a high number of casualties. As a reaction to this; Chinese Customs have tightened up on the importation and movement of a number of commodities in an effort to minimize the risk of a similar occurrence. If you are in any doubt about whether an urgent item can be shipped then please contact our operations department on 01344 483835 (Option 1) in advance of shipping and provide a detailed description of the goods and a MSDS Form (Manufactures Safety Data Sheet) and we’ll contact our agent to check whether it is likely to be permitted.
If Operations do come across anything of this nature we will inform you accordingly and hold pending further action.
