Cuba: Due to a rise in Covid-19 cases and limited flights to Havana, some delays are expected.

Asia Pacific:

Operational update:

Australia:
Canberra: Lockdown has been extended until 2nd September 2021. Pick up and deliveries are
operating as normal.
New South Wales (Sydney): Sydney’s lockdown has been extended until 30th September 2021.
DHL Pick-up and delivery are operating but with expected transit delays.
Victoria (Melbourne): Melbourne’s lockdown has been extended until 2nd September 2021. All
DHL receptions will remain closed. Pick up and deliveries are operating as normal.
Bhutan: The government has implemented a lockdown in the southern region, pick-up and delivery
service in the southern region is temporarily suspended until the lockdown is lifted.
Brunei: To comply with the latest regulatory requirements, DHL Express Brunei will temporarily
suspend pick-up and delivery services in the country effective from 27 August until 5 September
2021. Normal service is expected to resume from 6 September 2021. Self-drop off services is still
available at BWN service centre. Global pick-up services for non-documents will be suspended . All
documents picked-up globally into Brunei will be held in our BWN service centre for self collection if
customer wishes to self-collect.
China (Peoples Republic):
On Friday August 20th 2021, we were notified by external local authorities that several of their
employees working for the Airport Ground Operations Service of Shanghai (PVG, China) were
tested positive on COVID-19. Subsequently, mandatory quarantine measures were taken by them
which is now impacting the handling capacity of all organizations operating from PVG Shanghai
airport.
In order to cope with the limited handling capacity at PVG Shanghai airport, we need to implement a
temporary weight limit restriction of 100 kg per pick up (customer collection) per day, from
East-China (Shanghai SHA, Zhejiang HGH and Jiangsu/Anhui SZV/PVG, Shandong TAO, Liaoning
DLC ) to all destinations.
This temporary restriction applies from Tuesday August 24th until Friday September 3rd2021.
Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture (HAK –URC )
Pick up and delivery has been suspended until further notice.
Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province (PVG-YZH)
Pick up and delivery services are being suspended in Yangzhou City. This has been extended to
4thSeptember 2021.
Pick-up services globally into Yangzhou City have been suspended until 4thSeptember 2021.
Zhengzhou City (HAK-CGO), Henan Province Update
Pickup and delivery service in Shangqiu City covered by postcodes 476000,476200,476300,476400
will be suspended until 4thSeptember.
Indonesia: The Indonesian Government announced new guidelines to restrict mobility in some
cities/districts extended until further notice due to COVID. The restrictions are applicable to 29
cities/districts that are categorized as red zones. Essential services including DHL will still operate
100% with implementation of strict health protocols.

Malaysia: The Government of Malaysia has announced to implement a Full Movement Control
Order (Full Lockdown) throughout the country until further notice to address the current Covid-19
outbreak. DHL remains operational.
Nepal: The Government of Nepal extended prohibitory orders (lockdown) until further notice in 3
major cities: Kathmandu , Lalitpur, Bhaktapur following spike in COVID-19 cases. This is in efforts
to control further spread of those infected within the country.
DHL is still operational with charter flights but with extended transit time. Delays are expected due
to limited ground and customs workforce on duty.
New Zealand:
Auckland will remain at Alert Level 4 until 13thSeptember 2021.
Northland and South of Auckland remain at Alert Level 4 until 6thSeptember 2021.
DHL remains operational, but service delays are expected.
The Philippines: The government has announced a lockdown until7thSeptember 2021.
DHL will remain operational all throughout this period. Pick-ups and deliveries will be done when
DHL can access the area or when consignees confirm availability to receive shipments.
Solomon Islands: Zone is on 36-hour lockdown from 6pm Sunday 29thAugust till 6am Tuesday
31stAugust. All businesses and shops will be closed as well
Sri Lanka: Due to a recent surge in Covid-19 cases, the government has extended travel
restrictions until further notice. DHL is still operational, but service delays are expected.
Vietnam:
Ho Chi Minh City
To comply with the latest regulatory requirements, DHL Express Vietnam will temporarily restrict our
pick-up and delivery services within Ho Chi Minh City effective from August 23rd 2021 until
September 6th 2021. Pick up service in Ho Chi Minh City will be available in the following selected
areas: HO CHI MINH – District 1, District 3, District 7, District 9, THU DUC, BINH THANH, NHA BE,
GO VAP, PHU NHUAN, TAN BINH.
Please note that in the meantime, we will still continue to pick up your bank documents bound for
Ho Chi Minh City (SGN). Shipments which are impacted by this latest regulatory would continue to
be processed into Ho Chi Minh city and will be held in our facility till we are allowed to continue
delivery/collection options. Drop off or collection is available at our SGN SSS service centre.
Visitors must produce proof of a COVID-19 negative test (quick test) and valid within 7 days from
the date taken. Pick up from other areas at South Vietnam will maintain as per normal.
Danang
To comply with the latest regulatory requirements, DHL Express Vietnam will temporarily suspend
our outbound services from Danang effective from 16thAugust until 5thSeptember 2021.
For other cities and provinces in central Vietnam, our services (except outbound services for
dangerous goods shipments) will continue to operate. Our operations in north and south Vietnam
are operating normally.
