Australia:
Melbourne, Victoria: Victoria has extended lockdown until at least 26th October. All receptions will
remain closed until 26th October. There is no change in DHL Operations, Gateway and Service
Centres will operate in Business as usual mode.
China Operations Pickup & Delivery:
Please be informed that there will be 3-5 transit days delay expected for outbound materials from
East and South of China until further notice. We will continue to keep you updated of any change to
the transit time.
Due to recent severe weather conditions, including last week’s typhoon in South China and Hong
Kong, combined with the heavy volume surge after the Chinese holiday period, our normal high
levels of efficient shipment processing has been impacted. As a result, we are currently
experiencing a shipment backlog in certain key facilities in this region. Some delays are expected.
In order for us to clear the current backlog, we need to implement a temporary weight limit
restriction of 100 kg per pick up (customer collection) per day, from China and Hong Kong to all
destinations.
This temporary restriction applies from Monday 25th October, until Wednesday 3rd November.
