Last night, Monday 7th September, there was an incident at one of our agents sortation hubs which delayed the trailers from the Reading depot, which contained over 5,000 parcels. These trailers were diverted to another hub. However, due to the lack of capacity, they had to be held until today. Unfortunately, one of the trailers contained our parcels which were due to be delivered today 8th September.
The parcels will now be delivered tomorrow, anything that was put on a timed service will still have that in place for Wednesday 9th September.
Please rest assured that this is an isolated incident which was completely unavoidable. Please accept my sincere apologies for what has happened and the inconvenience caused to you and your customers.
