Operational Update:
Sri Lanka –FUEL CRISIS IMPACT SERVICE LEVELS (UPDATES)
Please find latest update today on 14 July 2022 afternoon.
The situation remains largely volatile and unchanged. DHL has been able to secure another fuel
consignment and planning to clear all pending deliveries today due to public holiday yesterday.
Third party deliveries too are impacted due to no fuel and contingencies are being worked out
by domestic delivery companies in securing necessary fuel to continue operations. There is an
additional 2 days impact for third party area remote location deliveries.
There have been a Police Curfew on Western District (where majority of banks are located)
imposed on 13 July , it has been lifted this morning but imposed back again around noon time
today 14 July till 5am tomorrow. Hence, please expect an impact to pickup and delivery
services today. Regular services will resume if curfew is lifted tomorrow morning

Macau – Covid-19 Situation
Due to COVID-19 prevention measures, The Macau government ordered a one-week
suspension of all non-essential commercial and industrial businesses, including casinos,
starting on 11 July to curb its latest Covid outbreak.
Only companies authorized by the government are allowed to remain open.
DHL Macau Pick-up and delivery services as normal but services are dependable on the
receivers whether they are open to receive the shipments so please do expect delay in the
deliveries.

Ukraine:
Due to closure of Ukrainian airspace, our flight operations to and from Ukraine are suspended.
Therefore, we have temporarily suspended the acceptance of DHL shipments to and from Ukraine.
Russia:
Domestic and inbound services to Russia have been suspended, no shipments accepted until further
notice.
Belarus:
Full services suspension.
United Kingdom:
The Commonwealth Games commence Thursday 28th until Monday 8th August. Road restrictions in
place in the Birmingham and Wolverhampton Area. Delays expected.
