Europe:

France: Service has been suspended in the following areas: -17111 Loix, 17410 Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 17580 Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, 17590 Ars-en-Ré, 17590 Saint-Clément-des-Baleines, 17630 La Flotte, 17670 La Couarde-sur-Mer, 17740 Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, 17880 Les Portes-en-Ré, 17940 Rivedoux-Plage

Turkmenistan: Due to stringent quarantine measures in Turkmenistan, service has been suspended until 31st May.

Asia Pacific:

Bangladesh: The government has extended the general holiday until 16thMay, as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of COVID-19. All government and private organizations will remain closed and public transport services will remain suspended during this period. DHL operations are not impacted and will continue to operate.

India: The Indian Government has announced an extension of the lockdown until 17th May 2020. DHL will continue with Pick-up and Delivery Service for documents ONLY to selected postal codes which is attached. Services outside of these postal codes will remain suspended until further notice. DHL will continue WPX services selectively which waseffective from 29th April. The services will be available for India based shipper or consignee who fall under the category of “Permitted Services”, that fall under “Essential Services” category, inclusive of diplomatic materials. The process currently supports only India billed account customers. Since May 5th, DHL India will serve an expanded list of postcodes. Services to postcodes will be available to both India billed and network billed customers who are operational as per applicable government guidelines. Shipper or consignee with India based accounts will have to submit the essential services approval letter from Local Government authorities to ship under this category. Without an approval letter of government agencies in India, the bookings will not be accepted.
Self-Collect /Self Drop by Customers : Since DHL is operating in limited capacity, pickups & deliveries will be done wherever possible. In some cases, customers will be asked to Self-collect or Self-drop the shipments from the nearest SVC.

Lao Peoples Democratic Republic: The government has extended the lockdown until 17th May. All borders continue to be closed and no commercial flights are allowed to operate. However, DHL has resumed Pick Up and Delivery service although some delays are expected.

Maldives:The government has extended the lock-down until 30th May. DHL has been authorised to resume a limited delivery service.

Middle East and North Africa:

Libya:Service suspended until further notice.

Saudi Arabia:Pick-ups have been temporarily suspended from the following cities: Qatif, Hufof, Makkah and Buraidahuntil further notice.

Americas:

Cuba: Service has been temporarily suspended.

Puerto Rico: Pick up and Delivery at DHL branch only up to 7pm. Also, Banks are open but restricted hours.

Suriname: Due to island wide civil action, service has been suspended.

Venezuela:Inbound service suspended until further notice. Limited outbound service has resumed

Sub Saharan Africa:

Comoros: Inbound service has been suspended, outbound service remains operational.

Guinea-Bissau: Service has been suspended until further notice.

Mayotte: Inbound service remains suspended, but outbound service remains operational.

Mauritius: Operations have resumed for inbound and outbound service. All shipments need to be picked up or dropped up at service points.

Reunion Island: Inbound service remains suspended, but outbound service remains operational.

Sao Tome and Principe: Service has been suspended until further notice.

Somaliland: Service has been suspended until further notice.

South Africa: The South African Government has declared a Nationwide lockdown until further notice.Only “Essential Goods and Services” is expected to be picked up and delivered. Due to this, service delays are expected to impact Southern African countries; Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Angola.
