AMERICAS
Barbados: Only allowed to clear and deliver medical supplies. Collections and deliveries are available to banks that are open.
Bermuda: Only allowed to deliver medical supplies.
Cuba: Service has been temporarily suspended.
Curacao: Only allowed to clear and deliver medical supplies.
Puerto Rico: Pick up and Delivery at DHL branch only up to 7pm. Also, Banks are open but restricted hours.
Tortola: Only allowed to clear and deliver medical supplies. Restrictions to be lifted on 20thApril.
Venezuela: Service suspended until further notice
ASIA PACIFIC
Bangladesh: The Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh declared General Holiday from 26th March –25th April, as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of COVID-19.All government and private organizations will remain closed and public transport services will remain suspended during this period. DHL operations are not impacted and will continue to operate.
India: The Indian Government has announced an extension of the lockdown until 3rd May 2020. DHL will continue with Pick-up and Delivery Service for document materials ONLY to selected postal codes (431 postal codes) which will include the following cities –Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Hyderabad, Kanchipuram. Document service outside of these zip codes will remain suspended until further notice.
Lao Peoples Democratic Republic: The government has extended the lockdown until 3rdMay: There will be no pickup or deliveries during this period.
Myanmar: The government has implemented a lock down in Myanmar until 30 April. DHL operations are closed until further notice.
Maldives: The government has announced a complete lockdown until 1st May. There will be no pickup or deliveries during this period.
Nepal: The government has decided to extend the nationwide lockdown until 30thApril mid-night. DHL Express Nepal will continue to operate as it is classified to be essential services. Pick-up can be done on request basis only.
Pakistan: The Pakistan Government has further extended the lock-down until 30th April 2020. DHL Express are allowed to continue with our Pick Up and Delivery Service.
Singapore: Singapore Government has announced a 1-month lockdown starting from 8th April 2020. However, DHL Express is considered an essential service provider and will therefore continue operating our pick-up and delivery services for our customers.
Sri Lanka: Government has extended the curfew indefinitely. DHL are able to operate pick up and deliver essential services (Medical and Banks).
SUB SAHARAN AFRICA
Guinea-Bissau: Service has been suspended until further notice.
Mayotte: Inbound service remains suspended, but outbound service has now resumed.
Mauritius: Service has been suspended until further notice.
Reunion Island: Inbound service remains suspended, but outbound service has now resumed.
Sao Tome and Principe: Service has been suspended until further notice.
Seychelles: Shipments can be collected at service points. Pick up and deliveries remain suspended.
Somaliland: Service has been suspended until further notice.
South Africa: The South African Government has declared a Nationwide lockdown until 30th April. Only “Essential Goods and Services” is expected to be picked up and delivered. Due to this, service delays are expected to impact Southern African countries; Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Angola.
MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA
Afghanistan: Pick up and deliveries are restricted to critical shipments only.
Libya: Service suspended until further notice.
Oman: The government has announced a lockdown until 22nd April. DHL are still able to continue to operate in approved areas only.
